Mind Builders, LLC was developed to supplement education with exciting hands-on learning. Engaging the students in ways that traditional schools can't always provide. All lessons are developed to match national and state educational standards. Currently we have weekly sessions, Saturday Camps, Family Nights, and Sensational Summer Space & Science Camps.
MICHELLE WISE BELLARD

Michelle has seen first hand what that fire of learning can bring to her students. She is a graduate from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma with a bachelor of science degree in Early Childhood Education. She has taught in Oklahoma, Texas and Nevada. Each school and student has affected her teaching style. One thing is evident in all her experiences, learning should be like Christmas morning. Currently she is an educator for Mind Builders, LLC. She also was chosen to be the 2009/2010 Jet Propulsion Laboratory Solar System Educator for Nevada. This new venture will ignite learning in herself and her students.
RENA HUNTINGTON
Rena
has been teaching for 16 years. For
11 years she taught middle school special education. For the last 5
years she has taught at Empire Elementary School. Rena has a BA in
Elementary Education, an MS in Special Education, and is a certified
Reading Specialist. Rena began teaching Lego Robotics to kids in the
Carson City community after completing robotics course from NASA and
Georgia Tech. She has received grants from Partnership Carson City,
City National Bank, and Mind Builders LLC, to build STEM education in
Northern Nevada. Rena went to Space Camp in 2009 with her son, and 5
other students from Empire Elementary School. She is a firm believer in
project-based learning and loves to provide opportunities for kids to
build their own learning environments!
